Saturday’s Yard Sale: Donate what’s Left
On April 20th, Goodwill Industries – Big Bend is coming to Lenox Mill! They’re here to help you start your summer with a de-cluttered, stress-free home.
Following your yard sale this Saturday, Goodwill is willing to collect any remaining items you may have.
For your convenience, it’s as easy as setting your donations outside on the curb for Goodwill to pick up! Head to GoodwillBigBend.org/Pickup to RSVP your donation pickup, and note in the optional “Description of Donations” box that your pickup will be after the yard sale ends at 1 p.m.
The Goodwill team will be working hard to pick up all donations, but please offer them patience as the pick up could go as late as 4 p.m. depending on demand. Every household that RSVPs will be serviced.
Let Goodwill take care of those outgrown clothes, toys, and other household items you may find when you declutter so you can focus on what really matters.
Your Donation Matters.
Did you know that when you donate gently used items you no longer want to Goodwill, you create opportunities for someone right here in our community? As a local 501(c)3 non-profit, Goodwill uses 87 cents of every dollar made in their stores to fund critical programs available to community members at no cost to participants.
Through their in-person career centers and online training programs, they’re able to provide job support, training, placement, skills development, and more to individuals facing significant barriers to employment.
Your donation makes a difference. We’ll see your donations outside on Saturday, April 20th following the community yard sale.
